HI, I'm Melanie.  I was born and raised in winthrop.   My first job was working in salon called Andiamo's, Ive had a passion for hair since I was a little girl and now I've been a stylist in town for 28 years.   Over the years my passion for hair is to continue to learn techniques as well as creating and perfecting my color formulas to create the perfect color for my clientele a la carte.  Ive trained  with Aveda and Keune cosmetics to facilitate high quality haircuts and coloring techniques,  I believe continuing my education is the key to any Master stylist. the year putin as a stylist are more valuable with continuous proper education.  I believe the moment I think I know everything about hair is the i will quit!

I love the creativity that hair offers to my clients whom now have become very close friends.  I can dress and change the look and mood of a person just with a well cut haircut.  We can chnage color like we change our seasons while still keep the quality of hair feeling strong and healthy.

I have owned Mel and Ro's in town  and now choosing to rent space at Eyesonme with Nataly, we are very similar in the  way we work and treat our clients,   It has been a great start of the new year and look forward to meeting new comers that are settling in town, Winthrop is an amaing little town to have a family and we all become one big happy family.

Onix (service Dog)

Hi, My name is Onix and I’m a Giant Schnauzer Service dog in training. Im very friendly and I love to be petted only when I Behave. I cannot interrupt your service while the hairstylist are applying color or cutting your hair, if you need emotional support I can lay next to you. I been training in costumer service and I'm officially the salon manager, any complains can be directed to me, I will do my best to rectify any concerns. Unfortunately due to my lack of verbal skills I cannot come to the phone, so please 3rd parties do not ask for me over the phone, as I will be busy attending clients or taking a much needed nap.
